Meet our pitmaster, Big Lou Elrose
 
Big Lou took up barbeque when he retired from the NYPD motorcycle unit in 2008.  He went pro after winning several amateur competitions, such as 1st place pork American Royal.  Now he's our top pitmaster, in charge of all handing, grilling, and smoking at Wildwood.  
 
Big Lou's philosophy on barbeque is simple: "Always start with a good cut of meat.
